How it works
Paste a report you have already written
Last year's, a colleague's, or the school's model report. Report Alchemy reads its headings, their order, its length and its tone, and keeps them as your format. Names in it are fine: it learns the shape, not the child.
Type a few words for each pupil
Your class appears as a register, one row per pupil. Add your notes, choose she, he or they, and press the button. Each report is saved as soon as it is written, so you can close the tab and come back to it.
Read, change and download
Every report follows your headings. Edit it where it stands, or ask for a change in plain English, such as “make it warmer” or “mention her reading”. Then copy them all, or download the class as a Word document. Read each one before it goes home: you know the child, and the AI knows only your notes.

Each pupil's reports are kept, so next term's can build on the last one when you choose. Rename, merge or group pupils into classes, or delete a pupil and everything about them.
Parents' evening notes

Pupil data
These are children's records, so our data processing agreement, risk assessment and list of sub-processors are published, including what is not yet in place.
- Stored in Google Cloud's London region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Reports are written by OpenAI in the US.
- By default, the names of pupils you have added are swapped for a code before anything is sent.
- An Article 28 processing agreement, published and signable online.
- Delete a pupil, or your whole account, yourself, straight away.
- Nothing you enter is used to train AI models.
- Every sub-processor named, and a published risk assessment a school can adopt.
